We deliver off-the-shelf software solutions that are ready to go “out of the box”. They are hosted, come with pre-loaded content, such as our materials data technical dictionary, and are easy to use with minimal training.

For data cleaning projects, we have developed relationships with a number of carefully selected content production facilities which enables us to ramp up our volume rates very quickly if needed.

Accuracy is embedded in our software and processes

Materials data needs to be precise - there isn’t a postman to put the inaccurately addressed envelopes in the right mailbox! If the product or spare part is described poorly, it can have any number of consequences, ranging from wasted time and money spent searching and sourcing, through to expensive equipment failures, downtime and safety hazards.

We have developed a data structure specifically to describe materials, which is one of the key foundations of our product set. Our background is in spare parts and we have a comprehensive technical dictionary available to use for this data, but our applications work equally well with product data or direct materials. Indeed, our data cleaning and governance tools have also been successfully used to deliver improved visibility of complex oilfield drilling equipment, to build an office products catalogue in 12 languages and to manage master data for medical supplies.

The right data structure is critical, but needs to be applied by well trained staff backed up with sound management processes. sparesFinder has embedded numerous automated routines into our software applications to bring additional rigour to the process and ensure a very high level of quality assurance.
