Masterpiece Overview
Masterpiece is our fully hosted data cleaning application. It is used by large and medium sized companies to manage, control and deliver projects to convert materials master data held in many systems, described in several languages and with inconsistent formatting into a single well structured master record for each unique item, globally.
Masterpiece builds on the core foundations of our technical dictionary, advanced catalogue, and description building functionality to deliver a depth of essential features that can only be found in an application tried and tested over many years and millions of lines of data.
It provides all the processing screens, workflows, quality management and project tracking required to undertake a global, enterprise wide, materials data cleaning project. To deliver maximum efficiency, the system includes a series of automated data scanning algorithms, which parse key data and match and group duplicate items. Moreover, as fully hosted software, data cleaning and enhancement work can be undertaken by anyone you choose (your own staff, your suppliers, third party contractors, or even us!), at any time and in any location, using a simple web browser connected to the internet.
Several levels of user access are available and all activities are audited and monitored through Masterpiece, thus transforming an otherwise fragmented task into a visible and controlled project, using robust, reliable and repeatable processes.
